Can I try it without talking to sales?

Yes. Run a free roleplay in your browser: no account, no card, about two minutes. You pick a scenario, talk to the AI character out loud, and get the same scorecard a paying customer gets. Most people do this before they book a call.

How does a roleplay work?

Accepted Answer

You open a link and talk to an AI character by voice. It stays in character, pushes back, goes quiet or changes the subject the way a real person does, and reacts to how you ask rather than reading from a script. At the end you get a transcript scored against each criterion, with the quoted line that earned each score.

What do I need to use it?

A browser and a microphone. There is nothing to install and nothing to connect to your existing systems, which is why most teams are running within a week rather than a quarter. A webcam is optional and only used if you want body-language feedback on presentations.

Can we build roleplays from our own material?

Yes, and this is how most teams start. Upload a playbook, an HR policy, a battlecard or a recording of a real call, and TrackPoint drafts the character, the situation and the scoring criteria from it. You edit all three before anyone sees it, so the roleplay tests your standards rather than a generic script.

Are there ready-made roleplays?

More than 20 are included, covering sales calls, objection handling, performance reviews, difficult feedback, onboarding conversations and client escalations. Teams usually run a ready-made one in the first week to see how it works, then build their own from material they already have.

Can we set our own scoring criteria?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on the Enterprise plan. You write up to 30 criteria per roleplay in your own words, so a score means the same thing it means in your performance review or QA scorecard. Type the criterion and TrackPoint drafts the scoring definition for you to edit. Every plan scores against five default criteria.

How realistic is the AI character?

Realistic enough to be uncomfortable, which is the point. It holds a position, gets defensive, repeats itself, goes quiet and changes the subject. You set the difficulty and the personality, so the same case can be a cooperative first attempt or a hostile one.

What does a manager see?

A readiness grid with every person's score on every competency, so the weakest skill across the team is obvious at a glance. You can click into any session to read the transcript and hear the recording, and compare the current window against the previous one.

Can I assign a roleplay with a due date?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with a passing score as well. You assign it to a team or a cohort, and see who has passed, who is in progress and who is overdue. Set it to repeat quarterly and TrackPoint reissues it automatically, so the team recertifies instead of being trained once and forgotten.

Can we export results?

Yes. Assignment progress exports as a CSV with each person's status, best score, attempts and completion date, which is what most teams take into a review or hand to an auditor. Individual sessions download as a PDF scorecard with the quoted evidence and coaching notes.

How long does it take to get started?

Most teams publish their first roleplay the same day and have people practicing within the week. There is no integration work, no data migration and no IT project, because TrackPoint runs on its own in the browser.

What is the difference between Team and Enterprise?

Accepted Answer

Team covers one team or department. Enterprise adds single sign-on, custom evaluation criteria in your own words, custom branding, API access, one invoice across departments, and support through security questionnaires and procurement. Team is monthly or annual; Enterprise is an annual contract.

Is there a free plan?

The live demo is free, needs no account and gives you a real scorecard. Beyond that TrackPoint is sold to teams, so there is no paid individual plan at the moment.

Do you offer education pricing?

Yes. Universities and colleges get flexible licensing for a course, a department or the whole institution, at education pricing. Tell us about the program you have in mind and we will size it with you.

Do you train AI models on our data?

Accepted Answer

No, on any plan. Your sessions, uploads and results are never used to train any AI model, ours or a vendor's, and are never shared outside your organization. This is not a paid upgrade or an opt-out you have to find. Details are in the Trust Center.

How is our data protected?

Accepted Answer

TrackPoint runs on Google Cloud infrastructure certified to SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, 27017 and 27018, with your data encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256 and stored in the region you choose. Nothing you put in is ever used to train a model, on any plan. Security documentation and a data processing agreement are available to your IT and procurement teams on request, and the full detail is in the Trust Center.

Where is our data stored?

On Google Cloud, encrypted in transit and at rest. Data residency options are available for Enterprise customers, so tell us what your policy requires and we will confirm what we can offer before you sign anything.

Who can see a learner's sessions?

Accepted Answer

The learner, and the admins of their organization. Each organization's data is isolated from every other, and nobody outside your organization can see a session. Admins see scores for roleplays that were assigned; self-directed practice stays with the person who ran it.

Can we delete our data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ask us and we delete it and confirm in writing. We can also share our retention policy and a data processing agreement, which is usually what a procurement team wants before a contract goes through.
