Quick answer:
- Yoodli is a strong AI roleplay platform for sales enablement and certification. To coach reps on their real calls, it pulls them in from Gong, so you need Gong recording those calls first.
- TrackPoint does both jobs in one place. It records and scores your real sales calls itself, emails the recap, and turns the weak moments into AI roleplay practice automatically.
- If you want practice and real-call coaching without paying for a second tool to record calls, TrackPoint is the simpler setup.
Yoodli and TrackPoint both use AI roleplays to get reps ready for real conversations. Yoodli is an enablement platform built around roleplays and certification for large go-to-market teams. TrackPoint is a Yoodli alternative built for sales teams of 3 to 100 reps: it records and scores every call, sends the recap, and builds practice from what went wrong, without needing another call tool underneath it.

What does Yoodli do well?
Yoodli is very good at roleplay-based enablement. Its homepage calls it “The AI Platform for Human Skills,” with one platform “for organization-wide enablement, powered by AI roleplays.” Teams build custom roleplays and personas, assign them, and certify reps on the result.
If you’re certifying a big sales org on one methodology, that’s the job Yoodli was built for.
It’s also added real-call coaching. In August 2026, Yoodli announced Post-Call Coaching, where “every coaching session ends with a personalized roleplay generated from that learner’s real calls.” Real customer calls “get scored against the same rubrics your team already practices against.” That’s a smart loop, and Yoodli deserves credit for it.
And it’s easy to try. There’s a free Starter plan with 5 lifetime sessions, then individual plans at $8 and $20 a month billed annually.
Where does Yoodli stop?
Yoodli coaches on real calls, but it doesn’t record them. Its real-call coaching runs on Gong: admins “connect Gong” and choose “which calls flow into Yoodli,” and its Gong integration page says Yoodli “works from the calls Gong already scores.” Gong is the only call source Yoodli describes.
So for the full loop, you’re buying two products: Gong to capture the calls and Yoodli to coach on them. For a large enterprise that already owns Gong, that’s fine. For a 15-rep team, it’s a lot of software and a lot of contracts. Vendr reports a median Gong contract of about $55,359 a year, before any practice tool on top.
The other gap is the manager’s time. A 30-minute call needs 30 minutes to listen back to, so a manager with 8 reps who reviews one call and runs one coaching session with each of them every week burns roughly a full day doing it. Sellers aren’t sitting idle either: 77% of the 501 sellers Gartner surveyed in late 2023 said they struggle to get through their assigned tasks efficiently. A coaching tool has to remove work from that week, not add another dashboard to check.
What is TrackPoint?
TrackPoint is roleplay and real-call coaching with its own recorder built in. There’s no Gong underneath it: its notetaker captures the call, scores it, sends the recap and turns the misses into practice, and managers see all of it in one team view.

Take a 12-rep team that likes Yoodli’s roleplays and wants them tied to real calls. Nobody there uses Gong. To turn on Yoodli’s real-call coaching, the sales lead would first have to buy Gong for all 12 reps, go through Gong’s sales process and seat minimum, and then connect the two. With TrackPoint, the same lead connects the team’s calendars on a Monday. By Monday afternoon the notetaker has joined the first discovery calls, every call has a score and a recap, and the reps who rushed past the budget question each have a roleplay built from that moment waiting for them. One tool, one contract.
If your team already has roleplays it certifies on, bring the scripts and playbooks behind them. TrackPoint builds a buyer and a scorecard from each one for you to edit, so your certification tracks can move over in an afternoon, then sit inside training modules alongside short lessons and a pass mark.
Do you need Gong to coach reps on real calls?
With Yoodli, yes: its real-call coaching depends on calls recorded in Gong. With TrackPoint, no. The notetaker records the call, and TrackPoint scores it, recaps it and builds the practice.
That changes what you’re actually buying. Here’s how TrackPoint covers the whole loop:
It records the call. Each rep links a Google or Outlook calendar once, and from then on the notetaker shows up to their external Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams meetings. A rep can skip any meeting, or upload a recording from somewhere else.
It reviews every call, not a sample. Every recorded call gets scored for every rep. Managers get a team view of who’s improving and who’s stuck, so they only listen to the calls the scores flag.
It does the follow-up. After each call, everyone on the invite gets an email with the meeting summary and next steps. Reps can also copy a call’s notes, scores and transcript into ChatGPT or Claude to draft a follow-up email.
It turns mistakes into practice automatically. The weak moment becomes a roleplay, assigned to the rep with a passing score. Nobody has to build it by hand.
How do the practice buyers compare?
Both tools give reps realistic AI buyers to talk to. TrackPoint adds two things that matter for sales.
First, rehearsal tied to the calendar. Each upcoming external meeting has a Practice button next to it, and clicking it builds a roleplay around that prospect, using what’s public about their company. The night before a first call with a new logo, a rep can run the conversation a couple of times with a buyer who looks like the real one.
Second, buyers who don’t hand over information for free. With Semantic Reasoning, details like a budget ceiling or the competitor they’re also talking to stay hidden until the rep asks the right question. Reps who jump straight to pitching find the buyer gets vague, which is exactly what happens on real calls. You can test it in a free roleplay: ask about budget before you’ve earned it and see what comes back.
What does Yoodli cost?
Yoodli publishes individual pricing. According to its pricing page, Starter is free with 5 lifetime sessions, Pro is $8 a month billed annually with up to 10 roleplays a week, and Advanced is $20 a month billed annually with unlimited roleplays. Team and Enterprise, which add team dashboards, roleplay assignment and SSO, are custom-priced through sales.
For a sales team, you’ll be on Team or Enterprise, so plan on a sales conversation for the real number. If you want real-call coaching, add the cost of Gong to record the calls.
TrackPoint’s team pricing is public on our pricing page, and it already includes the call recording that Yoodli leaves to Gong. You can also run a free roleplay first, without creating an account.
Can TrackPoint replace Yoodli?
For a team that isn’t on Gong, it’s usually the better fit. The roleplays, assignments and certification you run in Yoodli all have a home in TrackPoint, and the real-call side works without buying a second platform to capture calls.
To switch, rebuild your most-used Yoodli roleplays from their source scripts, then have reps connect their calendars. If you have old recordings from Zoom or Teams, upload a few you know well and compare TrackPoint’s scores with your own read of those calls.
Which should you pick?
Pick based on what you already own and how big the rollout is.
Pick Yoodli if…
- You’re certifying thousands of reps across a large go-to-market org.
- You already pay for Gong and want a practice layer that works from those calls.
- You want reps to start on a free or $8 individual plan before anyone signs a team contract.
Pick TrackPoint if…
- You run a team of 3 to 100 reps without Gong and want every real call scored anyway.
- You don’t want to buy a separate tool just to record calls.
- You want each rep’s practice built from their own missed moments, without anyone assembling it by hand.
- You want certification for new hires and new messaging inside the same tool that reviews their calls.

Is Yoodli good for sales?
Yes. Yoodli is a strong roleplay and certification platform, and sales enablement is its biggest use case. The main thing to know is that its real-call coaching works from calls recorded in Gong, so it fits best at companies that already use Gong.
Does Yoodli record sales calls?
No, not on its own. Yoodli’s real-call coaching imports calls from Gong, and Gong is the only call source it describes. TrackPoint’s notetaker records Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls directly.
Is Yoodli only for public speaking?
Not anymore. Yoodli started in speaking and communication coaching, but it now positions itself as an AI roleplay platform for organization-wide enablement, led by sales onboarding and certification.

Does TrackPoint use our calls to train AI models?
No. TrackPoint never uses customer data, including recordings and transcripts, to train its own or anyone else’s AI models, and you choose whether your data lives in the United States, Canada or Europe. See our security page.
