7 Best Second Nature AI Alternatives for Sales

Quick answer:

• The best Second Nature AI alternative for most sales teams of 3 to 100 reps is TrackPoint. Instead of practice you design up front, it records and scores your reps’ real calls and turns the moments they actually got wrong into AI roleplays.
• If you want another avatar-style roleplay tool, look at Retorio or Hyperbound.
• If you want to start free or cheap, look at Outdoo or Yoodli.

Second Nature AI is one of the best-known AI roleplay platforms for sales. Reps practice discovery, objection handling and demos against AI video avatars, and it’s built for large rollouts. Teams usually look for an alternative for three reasons: pricing is by quote (Vendr reports a median of about $19,000 a year), reviewers on G2 put implementation at about two months, and the practice is only as good as the scenarios someone writes. Here are the seven we’d look at, starting with the one we built.

How we picked these Second Nature AI alternatives

We looked at these the way a sales manager with 3 to 100 reps would. Four questions mattered most:

1. Where does the practice come from? A scenario library is a starting point. Practice built from your reps’ real mistakes is what changes behavior.
2. Does it see real calls? If the tool only scores practice, you’re still guessing what reps do with real buyers.
3. How fast can you start? Two months of implementation is a long time for a 15-rep team.
4. Can you see a price, or start free? Small teams shouldn’t need three demos to check the budget.

Why do teams look for Second Nature AI alternatives?

Mostly cost, setup time and where the practice comes from. Second Nature is quote-based, and Vendr reports deals from about $19,000 to $26,700 a year. That’s reasonable for a large enablement team, but it’s a lot for a small sales team buying practice alone.

The bigger issue is deciding what reps should practice. Someone has to guess where reps are struggling, usually from the few calls a manager had time to hear. Reviewing a call takes as long as the call itself, so a manager with 8 reps who spends 30 minutes reviewing calls and 30 minutes training with each rep loses 8 hours a week. When Gartner surveyed 501 sellers in late 2023, 77% said they struggle to complete their assigned tasks efficiently. When nobody has time to review calls, practice drifts away from the mistakes that actually lose deals.

1. TrackPoint: best Second Nature AI alternative for small sales teams

TrackPoint is an AI sales training platform that reviews every call and then trains your reps on what it finds. Instead of starting from a scenario library, it starts from your reps’ real conversations.

The notetaker joins your Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls from your Google or Outlook calendar, or you can upload a recording. Every call is scored on a sales scorecard, and everyone on the invite gets an email with the summary and next steps. Then the weak moments turn into AI roleplays automatically, assigned with a passing score.

Here’s a normal week. On Tuesday, an AE demos to a buyer who says, “We already have a tool that does most of this.” The rep starts listing features and loses the room. Nobody hears that call, but TrackPoint does. By Wednesday morning, there’s a roleplay with an AI buyer who pushes the same objection, and the rep goes again until they pass.

Reps can also hit Practice on any upcoming meeting to rehearse it against a buyer researched from the prospect’s company. The AI buyers use Semantic Reasoning, so they keep details like budget hidden until the rep asks the right question. You can build other roleplays and training modules from a playbook, script or past call in under 30 minutes, start to finish.

• Best for: sales teams of 3 to 100 reps that want practice to match the mistakes reps actually make.
• Pricing: on our pricing page. You can try a roleplay free with no account.
• Data: stored in the US, Canada or Europe, and never used to train AI models.

2. Hyperbound: best for SDR and AE cold call practice

Hyperbound is an AI sales roleplay platform where reps practice cold calls, discovery and objection handling against AI buyers. Its free plan includes 45 prebuilt roleplays and example scorecards, and its paid Practice plan adds a buyer bot builder and custom AI scorecards.

Real call scoring is on its Perform plan, which gets calls through recorder and dialer integrations like Gong, Zoom and Orum. Both paid plans go through a demo, and Vendr reports a median contract of about $12,000 a year.

• Best for: SDR teams that want lots of cold call reps, especially teams already on Gong.
• Good to know: the full call-to-practice loop needs Perform plus a call source. See TrackPoint vs. Hyperbound.

3. Retorio: best for photorealistic avatars and behavioral feedback

Retorio calls itself “AI sales coaching for the enterprise.” Reps run video or phone simulations with AI clients who push back, and Retorio’s behavioral intelligence scores their words, voice and body language. It offers 93 photorealistic avatars, 38 voices and 14 languages.

Pricing isn’t published. Its site describes an annual base fee plus tiered licenses, with a free trial or paid proof of value after a demo.

• Best for: large international sales orgs that care most about how reps come across.
• Good to know: its site doesn’t describe scoring real calls. See TrackPoint vs. Retorio.

4. Yoodli: best low-cost option for individual practice

Yoodli is an AI roleplay platform for enablement and certification, with custom roleplays and personas. It has a free Starter plan with 5 lifetime sessions, then Pro at $8 and Advanced at $20 a month, billed annually. Team and Enterprise plans are custom-priced.

In August 2026, Yoodli added Post-Call Coaching, which scores real calls and builds a roleplay from them. Those calls come from Gong, the only call source Yoodli describes.

• Best for: reps who want cheap practice on their own, or teams that already own Gong.
• Good to know: it doesn’t record calls itself. See TrackPoint vs. Yoodli.

5. Mindtickle: best for roleplay inside a full enablement suite

Mindtickle’s AI Sales Role Play is part of its revenue enablement platform, alongside sales training, content management, coaching and Conversation Intelligence. Reps practice objection handling, discovery, cold calls and renewals in short sessions, including screen-share demos, in 25+ languages.

Pricing isn’t published and depends on company size and team structure. There’s a free demo roleplay on its site.

• Best for: larger companies replacing several enablement tools at once.
• Good to know: it’s a big platform to roll out if all you need is call review and practice.

6. PitchMonster: best for phone, in-person and screen-share practice

PitchMonster is AI sales training for B2B teams. Reps practice by phone, face-to-face or screen share, get scored on criteria you write, and talk through each session with an AI coach. It lists 29 languages and dialects.

Pricing is quote-based and per seat, with a standard 12-month contract. Real call scoring (“Call analysis”) is on its higher plan.

• Best for: teams that sell in person as much as on the phone.
• Good to know: you’ll book a demo before you see a price or start a trial.

7. Outdoo: best for trying AI roleplay free

Outdoo offers AI sales roleplay with a free tier: 60 minutes of roleplay credits, with no credit card and no sales call. Paid Growth and Enterprise plans are quote-based.

Real-call scoring is on the Growth plan, through 55+ call recording integrations.

• Best for: teams that want to test AI roleplay before committing.
• Good to know: anything past 60 free minutes is a custom quote by team size.

Do you want a scenario library or practice built from real calls?

Second Nature, Retorio and most tools on this list start from scenarios you build. That’s useful for onboarding, when new reps need the basics. But after the first month, the most valuable practice is the conversation a rep fumbled last week.

Here’s the test. Ask any vendor: “If my rep loses a deal on a pricing objection on Tuesday, how does that become practice by Wednesday?” If the answer involves a manager listening to the call and writing a scenario, that’s the work you’re trying to get rid of.

Which Second Nature AI alternative should you pick?

Pick based on where you want practice to come from.

• You want practice built automatically from real calls: TrackPoint.
• You want lots of cold call reps for SDRs: Hyperbound.
• You want photorealistic avatars and behavioral feedback: Retorio.
• You want cheap individual practice: Yoodli.
• You want roleplay inside a full enablement platform: Mindtickle.
• You sell in person or over screen share: PitchMonster.
• You want to try AI roleplay free first: Outdoo.

TrackPoint is the best Second Nature AI alternative for sales teams of 3 to 100 reps. For avatar-style roleplay, Retorio and Hyperbound are worth a look.

How much does Second Nature AI cost?

Second Nature AI doesn’t publish pricing; it’s quote-based. Vendr reports a median contract of about $19,000 a year, with deals from about $19,000 to $26,700. TrackPoint’s pricing is on our pricing page.

Second Nature vs Hyperbound: which is better?

It depends on your team. Second Nature leads with AI video avatars and multi-persona meetings for large sales orgs. Hyperbound focuses on SDR and AE practice like cold calls and discovery, with real call scoring on its Perform plan. Does Second Nature AI analyze real sales calls?

How long does it take to set up Second Nature AI?

Reviewers on G2 put Second Nature’s implementation at about two months. With TrackPoint, you can connect your calendar and have the notetaker on your next external meeting, and build a roleplay in under 30 minutes.

Does TrackPoint use our calls to train AI models?

No. TrackPoint never uses customer data, including recordings and transcripts, to train its own or anyone else’s AI models, and you choose whether your data lives in the United States, Canada or Europe. See our security page.
